Newsletter
Our mission as members of the Woodbury MS Choirs is to develop a musical community, where we can attain harmony, balance, and blend with each piece of music by first establishing positive, trusting relationships with each other. We believe that by creating this safe atmosphere will build and strengthen our performances by encouraging risk, growth, persistence, and a focus on and commitment to excellence. We also believe that through our experience, we will stand as advocates for music education in our schools and provide light to all students in and out of our program.

Mariachi Club
This year, we are starting a Mariachi program through our Mariachi Club. Students taking a music class will have the chance to develop and refine their skills with the optional opportunity to join a mariachi group! Students will practice their singing technique and learn a mariachi instrument, and by the end of the year they will have increased confidence in their performance!

All-State Choir

Next semester, I will nominate students to participate in the Nevada ACDA All-State Choir, where they will get a chance to work with a renowned choir director (sometimes also a composer/arranger), who will conduct them at UNLV!
